LISN Dog Rescue
In October of 2022, my husband and I went on our honeymoon to St Lucia. On that trip we witnessed hundreds (maybe thousands) of stray dogs that were in horrible conditions. They are seen as nuisances to the locals and do not get the care they need. At our resort, we had a dog wonder around that was very friendly and polite. She would come around during meal times to see what she could get to eat. As the week went on she began to recognize me and would follow me around and take naps in our room. One day when she was eating breakfast with us (steak and eggs) and the resort called pest control to come remove her from the property and dump her elsewhere on the island. We came to find out this is a common practice. However, I could not let that happen. We contacted a rescue to help, but they were all completely full and almost out of funds. Luckily, the founder of Bruno Project found a local woman that would "board" her until we could get her shipped to New Hampshire. A few weeks later she made it home. This dog is now Lucy, the smallest of our rescues.
LISN Dog Rescue has a special place in our hearts. The two ladies that created the rescue, Beverly and Lisa, were at the resort the same time as my husband and I. We have all seen first hand how much help these dogs need. They have no voice and we need to be that voice!
This rescue was created to help control the massive stray population on the island of St Lucia through spay and neuter. However, another problem has come about. The only shelter on the island is overwhelmed with the amount of dogs they have in their care. Some of the dogs in their care have been there for three years and have not even been put up for adoption yet. Our company's goal is to help these dogs find their forever homes. We have opened up our doors to foster as many dogs as we can. If you are interested in adopting one of these well deserving dogs please take a look at our available dogs and fill out an adoption form.

Bruno Project
Due to the LISN dog rescue creators living outside of St Lucia they needed someone on the island to preform their spay and neuter project. That is where the Bruno Project comes into play. This rescue is on St Lucia and preform spay/neuters, transportation, stray feedings, and adoptions. LISN dog rescue will be shipping out dogs that are under Bruno Project's care to be fostered by me. Due to these dogs being from the Bruno Project, all adoption fees will go directly back to the Bruno Project so more dogs may be shipped out and be adopted.
